Bio/ History: Izumi is an orphan Mephisto sought out and brought to True Cross Academy, once learning about her abilities. She stays in the old boys dormitory along with the Okumara brothers, Rin and Yukio. She's been haunted by the rumors floating around, about her burning her own house down at the age of eight, when she fight acquired her powers. The rumors died down, but the nightmares of the event hadn't. She was the only one out her family of four that made it out that night.. Her parents and her younger sibling perished by her hands. Due to the "cursed" child title she had gained, she doesn't have many friends- actually, she doesn't have any friends at all. Izumi is terrified of her flames awakening, and forces herself to hold back when training. She doesn't want to hurt anybody.  

When she first met the Okumara brothers, she could sense that Rin wasn't human and secretly followed him around for a short time. It didn't take but a few days to learn about his blue flames, and later learned that he was the Son of Satan. Not phased by it in the least, she confronted him when they were alone, and showed him the tattoo's that stained her right arm and her torso. They made a made a deal not to tell anyone about the other, and Rin promised to help Izumi with her fear of her flames.
